Anybody having a noise on rotation sounds like in the rear kind of like a clunking at low speed? Both in forward and reverse

Mine makes a noise when the suspension is flexing, sorta of a mild pop. I believe mine is the sway bar, no rotational clunking.

I had an issue when traveling at a constant speed (like 25 mph) and when I let off the gas, there would be a clunking sound. It would also happen accelerating. I took it in and they re-torqued the axle nut that goes through rear hubs. The noise is gone. They said it is a known issue on the 1500.

Thanks i think that may be what it is

Exactly how mine started. Just had the axle pop out of the differential. Might be where you are heading. I had a dealer check cv joints months ago. Good luck.

If you search the word "clunk" there are pages of discussion on this forum. Lots of discussion on.
Was it the left side that popped out ?

I am afraid they put lock time on the splines as they have called that the fix. Hate to take off the shaft.

The dealer will put green locktite on the axle spline and retorque.

I will not let them put green locktite on mine. It's a permanent type that will not disassemble. Can you imagine trying to replace in the field? They have a spline tolerance issue and this is their fix??? I will put up with the clunking till enough people say no to the green locktite and they come up with a permanent fix, such as spline replacement. I doubt they do since they are struggling financially. I own 3 of the 1500hd, one is a crew. Been in the shop more than out.

I done my Loctite bandage 4 months ago and the clunk remains silent. Been others report their dealers done it without success but I question if they followed proper procedures of cleanliness and primers.
Is it the proper fix ? Nooooo
Should Polaris step up and do the right thing? Yes
Will they ? Doubt it but hope to be wrong.
I was maintenance lead in a large factory for many years, green will come apart with heat.
