Duratrac vs kimpex hd4

If i wanted tracks just for the snow i definitely would have gone with rubitracks. His 4 season tracks are double what i paid for the duratracks so i had to pass.

Having the tracks for a good month (or so), I've had a good look at the Rubitrack system. All the boogie wheels are all sealed bearings. There is nothing that I can see which would deter me from running them in the mud/ muskeg etc. Probably put a little more wear and tear on them than snow, but most likely no different than any other track system. Just my 2 cents.

I was thinking the same thing but i watched a podcast with the owner. The host of the podcast said the same thing but the owner wasn't willing to go along with it and basically said they are designed for snow.

For sure. I had some really good talks with Scott before I pulled the trigger on these tracks. I primarily run these on snow. Its probably 90/10 snow. I might have gone with the duratracks before finding out about Rubitracks but the duratracks weren't available yet. From what I read on a few different forums they seem to be good (duratracks).
There was another set of tracks I found for the 1500 which I thought put a lot of engineering into them. I can't think of the name right know but they had a really good uTube video about their design.
Always a hard choice when there are multiple options! Best of luck and let us know what you choose and how they work out.

Oh I already got the duratracks. I'm letting the corn field thaw in the sun a little today before i go break them in.

I'm envious of you guys that could do the break in on snow. Keeping the tracks wet for a 10 mile ride made a real mess. Fender flares were ordered as soon as i got done and my bed topper should ship next week. My bed had 6" of mud in it!
