Just shy of 19000 miles on it now. Never did anything about it. Haven't started any fires yet.

Run just fine. The converter is after the sensor so nothing changes in how the engine runs. It should is a touch louder but not bad. No lights on and no more glowing red. The converter is right where the muffler is glowing in you pics

I’ve got over 2000 miles on my 2025 and drive it on the highway at night but I’ve never noticed that. Sometimes you can smell heat from the exhaust system. There is a local guy that has a field tile business who has a 2024 that is the first XD 1500 I seen out around here. He had his catch on fire several times without damage because he was right there. I believe he said he had built up a bunch of corn, bean, and weed debris around the exhaust. His business keeps him out in the middle of that at all times.
