I didn't drive the HD11, but sitting in them was a very different experience between the two for me. The 1500 felt like my truck... it felt familiar, comfortable, refined... I liked the positioning of the dash, windshield, etc. When I sat in the HD11, it reminded me too much of the XP1000... the second I sat in it I literally said out loud "nope!" and got out.

I have a 1500, and I have a Defender HD10. Both are great vehicles. The Defender is way more quiet than the XP1000s, but the 1500 is way quieter than the HD10. My neighbor just got the Defender HD11. I drove it for about 30 seconds, so not enough time to provide an accurate impression of cab noise. I will try to update this post once I get to drive/ride in it under a load etc.
