Not really a mod but close. Has anyone tried the Thumper Fab Mighty-Tite Quick Release Trailer Tie Downs for the 1500? We have an enclosed trailer and currently I have to lay under the 1500 to ratchet it down so I'm looking for a solution. These look like it would make it a lot easier to load and unload.

Tried to find the weight rating and may be looking right at it but can't find it. Asked my dealer about them. He asked his Thumper Fab rep who said they work great for the 1500. That's why I asked on here.

I have 4 dedicated straps that I have cut to size, so I don't have long tails to mess with. When I release my straps, I leave them set at that length, so they are ready to hook back up. My trailer has 4 recessed tie down points in the bed and the Ranger has 4 good points to tie to. It takes me less than 10 minutes to secure and be ready to roll. I personally would not like having the plates bolted to the floor which would be in the way when I use the trailer for other things. IMHO it doesn't look more robust than what I'm doing now and for over $700 I think there are better options out there.

Other than having the organized system I am the same as Big Red.
I haul numerous different machines on several different trailers, the Polaris being by far the lightest, but tie down goals are the same with all. Place as much four corner diagonal pull on the machine as possible. On the rear there is normally clearance to run the the strap hooked to the right side of the machine to the left side of the trailer and vice-versa.
If it is a long haul I prefer to strap the tires directly or soft strap over the a arms so I don't compress the springs for days.

I like the idea and how quick and easy it would be. But for me the mounted plates would be in the way on my trailers. Especially my enclosed, since I use it to sleep and live in for multiple days at a time. My enclosed has 4 recessed tie down points that are easy to access.

I have one in my Auction Trailer. It works great. I use the tire chuck and the winch to strap the 1500 in my enclosed trailer. I would highly recommend
