Aftermarket Assassins Ranger 1500 install and thoughts

It's always such a fine line between noise, heat and restrictions. I couldn't live with the heat, I did install one of their quiet cores. Is it as quiet as factory, no, but it helped.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out. Fairly expensive upgrade for no longer than it lasted. I would agree that it would be good to reach out to AA to let them know your experience. Maybe there is something that they can do to make it right.

Was preparing the exhaust for sale. Checked the spark arrestor. First time there was some debris. Second time there was more I didn’t post a pic of that one. Third time here is a pic. They are sending me another second muffler.

Any one else running this and want to check their spark arrestor?

Wow. That looks like a major failure. It will be good to hear from them whether that is a one off issue or the result of a terminal design flaw. I’m surprised they didn’t ask you to return it for an autopsy. Guessing they already know the answer. Not good….

Dam, I think I’ll hold off on any exhaust at the moment. Hopefully the second one doesn’t do the same.

What did AA have to say about muffler failure? Is that the cause of quiet at first, then got louder? Will check my spark aresstor for debris.

They said this is first one ever. And they’ve sold “over 100 systems out there in 18 months” they are getting more made. They don’t have any stock left. I’m in Canada and shipping sucks back and forth. I have to pay to get the replacement exhaust here. Which I understand.

Being quiet at first was the packing was where it was supposed to be. Now obviously it’s not.
