Thanks for the add administration!! Kansas boy here. 2025 XD crew owner. I work in the bridge building construction industry as a crane operator/field supervisor. I bought this XD simply because I wanted to travel in style . Don’t do much “work” with it but I do put the miles on it running around the “big wide open” of the Flinthills here in central Kansas. More of a pleasure ride for me. Last ranger was 2021 crew open cab. This was a bombshell of an upgrade .
I enjoy reading everyone’s insight and experiences with their machines. Glad to be here and certainly glad the administrators here decided to get together and create a 1500 XD forum page. Thank you!

Thanks! Love the XD!! I can’t get enough of it. Bought it on Christmas Eve of 2025 and already have 3500 miles on it. I’ve done a few minor modifications.. installed a tip out windshield kit, that works great, I installed a DRT rear bumper with lights, best look for the contour in my opinion. Added a horn.. got to honk at my neighbors . My XD is the premium package so I added front bumper lights. Added side mirrors..love the side mirrors. My next upgrade are fender flares. DRT said they were coming up with a design here in the near future.. I’m just not sold on the push style keeper pins everybody is using to fasten them to the machine. I may be wrong but seems insufficient. And when I go to replace the tires I’m going with 32” instead of 30”

Welcome to the group. Looks good! Iowa boy here. I’m just glad to be a rural guy in a state that allows us to be able to operate our Rangers on the road. Like you I ride around in mine but I also make it earn it’s keep.

I also have the DRT rear bumper and agree it is the best looking one for our Rangers. It's not the biggest or meanest out there but it does everything I wanted it to do without rubbing on the tires while dumping. As most everyone here will tell you 32" tires are a must, get all 4 the same size so you can rotate them. BFG KM3's and Valor tires seem to be the top picks here but many other options available. The Polaris Fender Flares will surprise you, I know using "Push Pins" doesn't sound that robust but they are, I would much rather have them than screws that can easily pulled out of plastic. I did a fairly detailed write-up of the installation here which is easily found by searching.
