Did he recommend changing the filter too?I received the same email as well. I was in my dealer a while back, and he mentioned that they have had some failed transmissions under warranty. He also suggested I do my service around the 3k mile mark.
Yes, he said it all should be done around the 3K mile mark. Filter and fluid change, a full service. Which I’ll do in a few weeks, once archery season is over. I’m around 2850 now.Did he recommend changing the filter too?
I see your point and can't disagree from your perspective. However, as someone who doesn't put a lot of miles on my unit as it is just for utility as I own a Rzr for fun riding, I don't want my extended warranty cost increased to cover your extended mileage. I guess my point is, they should offer mileage tiers so that both types of customers can be covered if they wish.Of course the dealer wants you to change the transmission oil and filter, they charge around $700, you can do it yourself for around $300. The extended warranty is ok if you don't drive much, but the members of the club we ride with put on 8-9k miles a year, that extended warranty is worthless. It should be 5 years or 25,000 miles.
My warranty I bought covers this anyway.I’ll check I’ll be there tomorrow.
Ditto on the hot air!!!!!!!!!!!!!As for Clubin, call up Polaris and they will email it to you. Great job Polaris. Now they need to correct the hot air in the cab for the model 2026 and back to 2024.
