I sure hope it is true. Seems like this would be motivated by two different circumstances, or both.
1. A selling point for new customers that are spooked after having read so much online about transmission issues (primarily Facebook).
2. Polaris trying to get ahead of potential fights and more negative PR when many of these units fall out of their 1 or 2 year factory warranties.
Hopefully this will also cover any new transmission calibration updates that they come out with. They are still learning.
