I was told that the plow from my 21 ranger would not fit. But I know I would have to buy the new controller for the shift knob.

The plow from you 2021 XP will fit if it's a Glacier Pro, I know because mine fit just fine. The only thing is the angle will be off a little bit because the XD sits higher. I upgraded mine to the new one because I was told it wouldn't fit then tested when I got the XD home and it did. Search for plow on this site as I posted pictures of both plows on my XD.

If you are using the Polaris mounts on the machine your plow should fit. Anything aftermarket probably wouldn't.
