Winch button

Has anyone moved the winch button. What would it take to move button up to top ceiling location
My boxer mix with docked tail bumps button and runs winch out every now and then

That's how mine was broken.
It is definitely feasible to move it up You would either have to expose the wires up the door post or run under the floor to travel up the back corner same as the pulse bar wiring.
My son inadvertently ran mine backwards and burnt the motor so I plan to either fabricate a flip-up cover or add an additional on/off switch to cut control power to the winch switch
