Failing differential and Polaris says it’s normal please help!

Could you please explain where you put the grease? I’m unclear there and I apologize for that thank you.
straight down from back of cab. There is a grease fitting on the out put shaft where the trans hooks to motor.

Wow, that’s crazy – I just went out there and was able to consistently replicate the noise and told my wife it doesn’t sound like back by the differential. I’ll get a look and let you know thanks so much.

It’s axle lash on the splines into rear diff. Inner. Mine were locktite in and problem is gone. Suck to have to take it apart ever though.

yeah that wasn't the case on mine but time will tell we have almost 1500 miles on it 400 on it when I greased it and re torqued rear axles . Still good . Clubin , did you tear yours apart or take it in for warranty ?

Took it to the dealer. Dealer tried lots of times. Then the locktite thing was suggested and dealer did it. Hasn’t clunked since. 10,000 km been good. 16,000 on it now.

Good morning mine lift up and down also. also had the clunk it was the axles on mine . I could rock it back and forth and it would clunk. let off gas and clunk. I investigated and found that my diff was full and that my axles at diff would move up and down at diff. I'm a mechanic thought that was strange . I re torqued the axles and clunk went away . that was at 400 miles its now sitting at a little over 1300 miles now with no problems.
Please explain in detail what you re torqued, pictures please?

Don't have pics just pulled rear wheels off and re torqued rear axle nuts to 89 foot pounds I believe that's what it was look up torque specs . we now have 1700 miles on it now and its still fine .
Thanks! Will look in service manual.

I think zerk 1 on the right side of this diagram is the one he’s referencing. I grease this good once a year and haven’t had the clunk at @2400 miles.

While I don’t have the clunk, I do have a popping noise in the rear that’s most noticeable when turning under light acceleration. Dealer documented the issue and got Polaris to agree replace the rear axles. They’re doing something else too but I’m not clear what. Hope to get it back by the end of the week.
