Ranger 1500 tire and wheel pics

Look up a few post and you will see a grey XD 1500 posted by bbieb clearing showing the factory rims and 32" BFG KM3's
Great! Thank you! I think that looks good! I do a decent amount of pavement and gravel so I’m thinking these will be the ticket. Mine will be on a crew without doors though.

That looks really good. So before I pull the trigger, since I have the premium and it came with 14” wheels, I should be able to get the same thing just in 32x10-14 and should work the same, correct?

I'm guessing so?? I've never seen a Premium before........what size are your stock wheels? Are they all 14 X 7? I'm alco assuming BFG makes a 32" tire for a 14" rim? You can look in your owners manual to get the first answer and talk to the tire dealer (or internet) to get the second answer.

The tires on them and in the manual are 29x9-14 on the front and 29x11-14 on the rear. Everything I find on the internet seems to say 14” wheels are 7” wide.

BF makes km3 utv tires in 32x10-14. So do you just do the same 32x10-14 all the way around?

This link below looks like exactly what I have. It’s a 2024 Premium. The only year that you could buy without the doors (I had to choose between an upgraded xp1000 or a bare bones 1500xd not knowing I wouldn’t be able to get aftermarket doors) but I’m still glad I went with the 1500.

According to the internet your wheels are not the same width or offset which means you likely should not run the same size tires on the stock rims that are on your machine. (your call not mine) If I was doing it I would buy 15" X 7" rims either aftermarket or find some stock take off rims from a 1500 XD, your dealer may have a set of take-offs from a previous customer. Here is what I found.

On the base 2024 Polaris RANGER CREW XD 1500 Premium, the factory rim widths are:
  • Front Rims: 6 inches wide (14x6)
  • Rear Rims: 7 inches wide (14x7) [1]

Complete Wheel & Tire Specifications
  • Front Setup: 29x9-14 Pro Armor X-Terrain tires on 14x6 J rims with a +26.2mm offset (ET26.2).
  • Rear Setup: 29x11-14 Pro Armor X-Terrain tires on 14x7 J rims with a +63mm offset (ET63).
  • Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 (5-lug setup unique to the XD 1500 series). [1, 2, 3]

Oh man! Thanks for catching that before I bought the tires. Looks like I’ll be getting different wheels too. Good idea about the dealer trade in. Probably consider getting tires and wheels together shipped. Might be less headache. Thank you again.

So one of the local dealers told me the Xpedition wheels are the same specs as the 1500s. I do like the look of the all black Xpedition wheels . I’ve been looking locally and have 2 options to get my 15” rims I need if I want to upgrade to 32” km3.
$450: 2- 30x10-15 front and 2- 30x11-15 rear or;
$520: 4- 30x11-15 all around

From what I’ve read here, the 30x11-15 should still fit on the front without rubbing. If this is the case would it look ok, or too wide in the front? Which option would you guys choose to run until I get the km3s? I’m mainly doing this to upgrade to the 15” wheels.

I would not mix and match 10" rims and 11" rims, I would think the offsets would be different and it might look strange when you rotate the tires.
The 11" rims all the way around would likely work, I guess I'm not sure. You might want to check what width of tire you will need for an 11" rim since 10" seems for be the standard. If those were my only 2 options I would go with the 11" rims.

I’m sorry, I don’t think I was clear. These rims should all be 15x7 like what comes stock on the rest of the 1500xds and Xpedition. The tires were 30x10” and 30x11” and I wouldn’t rotate if I had 10” wide on front and 11” wide on the back.

Isn’t that what comes stock with some of the 1500’s or are they all the same size tires?

Put either 10’s or 11’s all around. You’ll thank us later .

Don’t worry about the price. It’s cheaper than drugs.

Ok, thank you! lol yes cheaper than drugs. I’m just hoping the guy with the 11s responds now.

Ok, so all the rims are all 15" X 7" and the question was should you run 10" wide tires in the front and 11" tires in the rear or just run 11" tires all the way around. I would run the same size tires all the way around with the most common size here is going to be a 10" X 32". I would think the 11" X 30" tires would work without issue.

Well of course I go (1.5 hr drive) with the guy who I confirmed had all 4 tires 30x11-15 and I get there and it’s 2- 30x10s and 2- 30x11s😡

One rim was a little scraped but doesn’t affect the tire seal. Due to the mistake so took them for $350. At least now I have 15” wheels to put the tires I want on them and can run these down for a little first. The Xpeditions come with Pro Armor Crawlers that are quite a bit quieter on pavement than the Pro Armor X-Terrain that came on it.

So for $350 I got my 15” wheels and a nearly new set of quieter tires to run down in the meantime while I shop the 32” tires.

Thank you guys for all your help.

Nothing special but I attached pics. The one in the winter is the before pic.

Looks good and you bought them right. Plenty of free rubber left on them before you need new tires.
