I really don't get much road noise, I have BFG KM3's and they are super smooth and quiet. As for the mats, I do have them and really like them. They hold their shape well, don't move, and contain the mess so nothing gets on the floor. As for road noise I doubt that they do anything to reduce it. I'm not really sure the 1/2" thick cattle stall type mats will do much to help it either, these things are big plastic and glass tubs and I doubt a piece of rubber laying on the floor will make much difference. Maybe someone out there has a decibel meter that could prove or disprove whether they make a difference or not.

I have the same mats as big red, and I didn’t notice any difference in noise reduction. But I do like how they keep all debris contained in the mat. Kind of like a weather tech style.
