What’s New with Your Ranger XD this week? 🛠️

You will have to trim the ribs down for them to go in. I used a utility knife and was careful. They were as close a fit as I could find. The ones Big Red used are out of stock on Amazon. Was not a hard thing to do.
Perfect thank you just ordered some

is there a door kit where the dome light will come automatically when opening the doors?

Mine is back from the shop for the 4th time and still haven't ridden it. And all warranty work is still not done. First trip was rusting bumper and windshield warranty still waiting on the windshield. Second trip was new A arms from the dealer damaging them. Third trip was a rusting frame underneath that they said oh well and this trip was because of a leak in my shop that turned out to be transmission and they had to pull the whole motor out.....so I have not alot of new stuff but I got it back today in time to drop it off in Ga at my hunting lease and hopefully use it.

Sorry just had to vent guys.

Well that just sucks ass! I hope your troubles are behind you and you have a good hunt with zero Ranger issues.

I hope so too, I have been quiet about all the stuff because I know most forums are full of breaks and hates but this last time was a little much to pull my whole motor and all I have done is ride I promise about 3 or 4 miles on the hard road in our neighborhood. I was really looking forward to this one and wanted to be happy about my talon trade in. Fingers crossed I pray it gets better!

Just put my new doors and Super ATV heater on my 2024 XD1500

Now that's a build! How do you like the roof rack overhang in the front? Any particular reason that the roof rack needs to be extra long?

Looks like it would be a good sun visor...............or just need extra room to hold a bunch carcasses.

What I want to know is what is the long bar that is mounted above the dash. Looks like it's a gun rest for shooting out the front window. Not something I would want to explain to my local DNR agent.

Well I just answered my own question, it is indeed a gun rest sold by Ranch Armor. I guess if you live in a state or hunt in a place that let's you shoot out of a vehicle then it would be a great set-up. In Iowa it's only legal to shoot out of a vehicle if your handicapped or too drunk to walk. Okay being to drunk to walk would not be legal here either🥴

Thank you very much . Not sure exactly for the extra long roof rack - Thinking when I researched them it was designed for Polaris 1500 to allow windshield wiper to clear when window raised . Not really sure but I do like it . Awesome lights - Elusive Technologies-Green and White . Super bright and works really well Hog Hunting .

Yes exactly- Gun Rest and doubles as a Hold my Beer and watch this shit handle .lol . I’ve heard that some windows have been shattered due to muzzle blast ? I shoot supressors so should be good .

I have heard others say (not that I did this in my younger days) that the muzzle blast inside a truck can be quite loud! On more than one occasion I have been witness to shooting critters from inside the cab of a truck. It can make your ears ring to the point you can't hear the sound of your next beer being opened. It's best to have as many windows open as possible for such activities
