What’s New with Your Ranger XD this week? 🛠️

I have heard others say (not that I did this in my younger days) that the muzzle blast inside a truck can be quite loud! On more than one occasion I have been witness to shooting critters from inside the cab of a truck. It can make your ears ring to the point you can't hear the sound of your next beer being opened. It's best to have as many windows open as possible for such activities
Big Red I thought that was only people from my area (bottoms area river rats) who did things like that not refined people from the St Paul area. 😆

Younger and dumber days for sure........thank god I've been exposed to more cultured folk in my older years. :p The truth is it just cost so much more to get into trouble today and the "juice just isn't worth the squeeze" anymore.

Tell us about your modifications, upgrades, repairs and customizations!
Snapped lower uniball, broke an axle and now found out my upper a arm is bent

I wanted to bump this thread since it’s been quiet for a few months!

What has everyone added, fixed, upgraded, or broken on their Ranger XD lately? Big project or five-minute garage modification, let’s see it. Post some pictures and part links if you have them!

Number one son borrowed the Ranger and turned the key off only one click....accessory! Discovered 2 weeks later the battery was killed. Replaced with the new Polaris AGM battery. No huge issues other than having to remove every connection to get it out. Fortunately the surrounding opening is plastic. You need to twist and turn the old battery to get it out and both terminals routinely brushed on every surface. Fortunately no shorts.

I've heard it's a bear to get out. Seems kinda silly to me that it isn't more accessible.

Adding a Polaris Horn Kit this weekend and their $1699.00 "50" Curved Light Bar.......Seems a bit pricy for a light bar, hopefully it's worth the money .

Don't for get to add the $125.00 wire harness that is needed ....Tax and all $1933.00....a bit crazy.

I did that once on mine, myself. Couldn’t blame anyone but me. I plugged my battery tender in to the plug on the front and charged it back up. It took a full day and a half to get it charged but it’s ok.

Worked on sound proofing. Polaris should be ashamed of themselves.
